I’m home for Christmas!!!! It’s a little precarious and I have to go straight back for blood tests on Boxing Day, but that’s fine. I’m still trying hard to keep my fluids up and even ate some bites of food. Neil and the girls have stocked the fridge with all kinds of goodies. The presents are lying under the pretty Xmas trees and we’re all looking forward to having a great day. Happy Christmas everyone.
So pleased you’re back for Christmas. I hope you and Neil have a wonderful day with your family.xxxx

Yes, ditto all of the above! Great you’re home for Christmas. Hope the day is everything you wish for – close family around and releasing the doves (rather magical and poetic). love and hugs. xxx

Dear Ceri I hope you all had a very Happy Christmas and well done for getting out of hospital in time to join everyone for a family celebration. We had a very quiet day yesterday with my parents – Church followed by a delicious lunch but my father was not on such alert form and he kept forgetting it was Christmas Day! We played lots of Bridge which was enjoyable for everyone as he can still play a good game but conversation is limited as he is so deaf. It is really rather sad but equally he is pretty amazing for 93 and very lucky to be living in his own house. My mother is a saint doing the caring and it is important to support her too. We are now back home and The Nicks are coming over soon for a couple of nights which will be super. Thinking of you and fingers crossed the tests are fine. love Catherine
