I really didn’t think I’d be saying this already, but it’s such a beautiful day today that I thought we could walk just to the gate at the base of the beacon. But once there, how could I not continue? Neil knows me better than I know myself so took his camera. It felt wonderful, the two of us sitting on the bench in the low autumn sunshine looking over Culmstock and beyond to Dartmoor in the distance.
I feel such gratitude to my surgeon Grant Sanders for making all this possible. I’m still all aches and pains but walking is the best remedy. We have so much to look forward to. Life is GREAT!!!
Ah! That is so wonderful to see! Thank you for posting. From strength to strength now! 💕

Well what a romantic thing to do ….. To climb the Beacon together and what an achievement! I hope you let your surgeon know. You look fantastic. Would love to call In and see you, I know family should be the main focus at this time and assume Cara is still with you. You strong and clever girl!
Lots of love HaT

Hi Ceri You look as good and lovely as ever! I can’t believe you made it up to the top of the Beacon so soon after getting back home. Talking of recoveries we had a drama with my Father who is nearly 93 and ready to move on as he keeps telling everyone. He seemed on the way out on Sunday and my mother called me urgently and we all sat round his bed tearful but glad that he was in his own bed etc etc and by the evening he was turning a corner and on Monday morning he was up and dressed and had no recollection of his illness! We think it was an intense fever fighting the start of pneumonia. He is now on antibiotics. Anyway all good for now. Poor Jill is very low with another attack of rheumatoid arthritis and it is affecting her liver at the moment so she is feeling awful. So many horrid conditions – keep well and happy love Catherine
