Neil: Now getting into a rhythm of cycling . Breakfast, if offered, is usually a good idea particularly as a picnic can usually be made for lunch too . Deciding the route is a shared experience. I don’t like gravel too much with skinny tires . Today we decide to use roads more as it’s nice not always to be on the Danube . Random stops and chats are great fun . Today was a lady walking her British Bulldog , and then a huge group of charity cyclists who had no English. We ended up giving 5 euros . Coffee about 10.30 usually is a half hour affair . We had some navigation discussions too . Signage is usually spot on in Germany but occasionally rider 1 misses the turn so that back stop 2 can shout STOP and we change direction. We stop for a picnic lunch a closed pub . We meet a French couple going to Vienna – our first non German cyclists. Tonight we are in Neuberg ….Ceri has done us proud …. It’s a brewery with a hotel attached. Both tired after 50 miles
