Neil: After 10 days straight cycling and 600 km we need a rest . A cultural day it was !
Passau is famous for the three rivers that join together here . The major tributary is the Inn . It looks very different from the meandering Donau. Grey and brown and full of melt water .
Passau cathedral is famous too for its organ. It is huge . A concert happens every day at midday . We have tickets . I find the music powerful but not relaxing . It’s raining today . We elect to see a glass museum. Not expected to be too enthralled, it was simply magnificent, 5 floors of the most exquisite glass mostly from Silesia and art deco too .
We meet our American friend later for drinks . Just a super day to relax.
